Creations made to sate my curiosity and love of life-long learning.

  • A gif is made out of printed risograph stills. A loud pink and a deep purple create depth in the center. A scalloped circle, an eye, a zig-zag trimmed circle, a mouth, and a circle alternate between horizontal blinds that read: See me, hear me, know me.

    I made a short animation in AfterEffects, had it printed, and then compiled the frames into a GIF. To see what effect the printing process would have on the texture of the frames.

  • A white wall is peppered with an abundance of stickers. There's no theme, no pattern. Just chaos that fizzles out near the bottom of the frame.

    Created from a photo I took while on a short study abroad in Japan.

  • Phases of a face turning to the left appear as afterimages. They're all slightly connected by a thing contour line that trails out of black masses weighing on the sides. An amalgam of shapes behind the faces intertwine, and the face and paper's planes intermingle. Fan album art for Jamiroquai's Travelling Without Moving album.

  • The letters B and A are hand-lettered, making them look like crashing waves that are headed toward each other. a four-pointed star or sparkle is centered above them.

  • Cans of drinks are lined up next to eachother. Winding lines of bee trails add flourishes while the front of the can is framed by hexagons that also allude to the school's mascot: a bee.

    I illustrated the label for Hillyer's Hops, a drink to be sold at an annual feature donor event at Calvert School. It took inspiration from the private school's mascot: a bee!

  • A person with long hair looks at the viewer, only black filling the area behind them. They're wearing a mask over their mouth and nose. They're holding up their right hand over their eye as it holds two fingers out in a v-shape, their eye poking through the middle of them both. They look tired.

  • Friendship is written out in one fluid, energetic motion. The lettering is then accompanied by two other words to wish you a 'Happy Friendship Day.'

  • Like flowing water headed toward the drain, organic but formless waves of sea teal and campfire orange swirl into the distance.
